rushes around 'car-pay diem' to be the first with the MOST exclusive snaps to report
to you. Digging in to what can only be described as archived fashion, there are three designers that really shone
at NYFW 2010 pour moi.
Moncler, if you've never heard of the Swiss ski wear giant before, then their monochrome, futuristic
display at NYFW ubiquitously stamped their mark as a heritage brand in sportswear.
Quaintly named Grenoble, amongst the tussle of rust, gold and abyssal black, Moncler produced silhouettes
reflecting poise, conception and drama.
Practicality seemed a minor factor; with fastenings veering to the rear of garments creating daring focal points
and masculine trademarks. Sport Luxe had to play favor to the fashion house, focusing
on luxe fabrics, corduroy, lapel silks and classic leathers. Key pieces features heavy duty boots with a modish
influence and classic down padding.

'Une grand finale'... NYFW AW 10/11
Zac Posen, created a dramatic scene of fiery fabrics and texture with silks!! Elegance and unorthodox grazing
perfectly for a 1900's soft, sleek silhouette. Simplistic shapes, using geometric tailoring and
natural flow its no wonder us bloggers are backing Posen as the next ' La Croix ',Couturier he may not yet be
but potential and a tailors chalk is all one needs.......
Finishing it off, Marc J, creations speak for themselves, original, feminine, quintessential, the list has to go on!
Although I wasn't there (my editors at Sketchbook were however... green eyed monster)
this collection shook the foundations of the Atlantic to me, heavy knits, carmel palettes and brisk woven fabrics. Brava!
